Tatar Bazardjik

TATAR BAZARDJIK: This enlisted men's prison camp was located in southern Bulgaria on the northern bank of the Maritza River, twenty-two miles west of Philippopolis, on the Sofia-Adrianople Railroad line. A small number of British prisoners worked in Tatar Bazardjik, working in labor detachments loading trucks.
