Nish

NISH (NISSA): This enlisted men's prison camp was located in Eastern Macedonia, in Bulgarian-occupied Serbia. Nish was on the Nisava River on a major railway line. The Bulgarians assigned British prisoners to the camp at Nish, which served as a parcel depot. These prisoners were probably assigned to labor detachments in the region.
