Boundary Markers: Nidamole
Nidamole is a town six miles inland from Machilipatnam. It happens to have been the site of a hotly contested village boundary resolution in the late eighteenth century. Today, however, its boundaries are well set, and stand as one set amidst the thousands that Andhra has to offer. Here we see a placard bidding the traveler adieu upon leaving the town limits. Other than that, the markers of the boundary consist of a small road and a line of toddy trees.
